How to set up a router using an Akado computer. Configuring the router to work on the Akado network

Akado Telecom is a provider of television/communications services that is widely developing within large cities such as Moscow or St. Petersburg. The provider uses modern technologies and standards in customer service, due to which it earns more and more positive reviews. Today we will look at how to set up an Akado router by connecting to Docsis technology, since not every new subscriber can do this without instructions.

How Docsis technology works, its advantages

First, let's take a little look at the essence of interaction through a Docsis connection.

This connection method includes the ability to connect various services over one coaxial cable, originally intended for television. In simple terms, access to TV, telephone, Internet or radio is now possible through one cord. This is very convenient because it eliminates the need to fill your home with unnecessary cable channels and wires. The latter often spoil the appearance of the house and can cause childhood injuries and other troubles.

It is also impossible not to note the advantage from a financial point of view - it is much cheaper to pay one communication provider than several. The question concerns connection with service.

As for data transfer speed, the technology’s ambitions cannot be taken away. At the moment, Docsis allows you to exchange information at a speed of 150 megabits/second, and in the future it promises to increase throughput to 800 megabits/second.

How to connect and configure an Akado router

If you have entered into a contractual relationship with Akado, you will probably need information explaining how to set up an Akado router. Let's consider the step-by-step course of action from the moment the equipment is installed.

So, an installer has arrived at your apartment or house to lay a coaxial cord around the premises. Keep in mind that this technology involves crushing the walls. After the first hole for the cable is made, the wire is routed into the housing and the splitter is connected to it. The device is designed to distribute the signal evenly between the equipment installed in your home (TV, personal computer).

You can then connect a router, set-top box, landline phone or radio to the splitter. Since we need to configure the Akado router, we will discuss in detail the connection of the router itself. You can purchase or rent it from the supplier at the same time as signing a service agreement.

  • Choose a location for your router. It should be accessible, but at the same time the router should not “get in the way.” It is best to place it in the corridor so as not to pull the cable throughout the home. Power the device from a network with a voltage of at least 220 volts. Activate the power button.
  • Connect the coaxial cord to the appropriate socket, securely fix the latter so that the plug does not jump out of the connector.
  • Pay attention to the back wall of the router - the manufacturer indicates the credentials on it: login, access point and password. (as a rule, identification data is standard – login/password – admin, address – 192.168.0.1.)

  • Open the browser you use on your computer or smartphone with Internet access. Go to the found address and record the registration data. You don’t have to fill out a complete list of data - the system will authorize you using information from the MAC address of the equipment.

  • If desired, follow the “wireless network setup” link and take care to change the security protocol to AES encryption.

After completing the described manipulations, try to activate the connection. Since the router is activated on the company’s server, the connection immediately after the setup is completed may only appear after a few hours (about 2).

We looked at how to set up Akado equipment. The manipulation is not complicated and takes a minimal amount of time. If you don’t want to bother with the setup yourself, ask a specialist for help - he will set up your connection when he arrives to pull the cable into your home.

Difficult? Watch a short video on setting up your modem.

Akado is a popular Internet provider whose services are used by users of Moscow and the Moscow region. If you become a subscriber of this provider, then all that remains for you is to configure the Internet correctly.

As a rule, the main part of setting up the Internet from Akado is done through the router’s web interface. Since even Akado distributes different models of routers, not to mention the fact that you purchased the router yourself, the interface in your case may be significantly different, but the configuration principle will remain the same.

Step 1: Connecting the Router

First of all, you will need to connect your router correctly. This is quite simple to do: first you need to provide power to the router. This can be done if you use the power supply included in the kit, connect it to the router and, accordingly, to the network.

After this, you will need to provide the router with Internet access. To do this, you need to connect an Internet cable to the router, supplied by the Akado provider to your apartment. To do this, this cable will need to be inserted into a special socket on the back of the router, which, as a rule, is either highlighted in color or labeled with the word “WAN” or “Internet”.

Since the router is configured from a computer, we will need to connect these two devices to each other. This can be done using the cable included with the modem. You should connect one end of the cable to one of the LAN connectors of the router (no matter which one), and the other, accordingly, connect to the computer.

At this point, the stage of connecting the router to the computer is completed, which means we can easily move on to the process of setting up the router on the computer.

Step 2: Setting up the router on your computer

  1. Make sure your router is turned on (the diodes on it should be lit), and then launch any browser on your computer and go to the following link:
  2. As soon as you press the Enter key, an authorization window will appear on the screen in which you will need to enter your login information to the web interface. For now, this data is standard, and the word “admin” (without quotes) is entered in both the first and second fields. If this data does not suit you and you were unable to enter the router settings, then you will need to inspect the router case, where, as a rule, on the bottom there should be a sticker with information about the router. This is where the authorization data for your modem (login and password) should be indicated.
  3. After logging into the web interface, first we need to configure the Internet on the modem. In the left area of the window you will need to open the tab "Net", select a section in it "Connections". In the window that appears, click on the button "Add".

  4. A window will appear on the screen in which you will need to fill in the fields in accordance with the data provided by your provider.

    Setting up PPPoE

    • Enable IGMP– remove the checkbox;
    • NAT– check the checkbox;
    • Firewall– check the checkbox;

      Apply your changes by clicking the button "Save".

  5. When the Internet settings are successful, all you have to do is configure the Wi-Fi on the router. You can do this by going to the section in the left area of the window “Network” – “Wi-Fi”. Make sure that the tab at the top of the window is activated "Basic settings" and then make the following changes:
    • Enable wireless connection– check the checkbox;
    • SSID– set the desired wireless network name, which must be written in English;
    • A country– set your country of residence;
    • Maximum number of clients– this item is specified arbitrarily. The optimal value is 10;
    • Click the button "Change".

  6. At the top of the window, open the tab "Security Settings", where again you'll need to do a little tweaking:

    • WPA2 Pre-authentication– check the checkbox;
    • Click the button "Change".

    At this point, the Internet setup on the router can be considered complete.

Step 3: Setting up your computer

Actually, at this point the Internet setup for Akado can be considered complete. Please note that if you have any difficulties, you should call the provider’s hotline, where a specialist will help you identify the cause of the Internet inoperability and eliminate it in a short time.

Today you won’t surprise anyone by having a home router in your apartment. Almost anyone with Internet access has it. Modern indoor routers have a fairly user-friendly interface - this is not Cisco with its console. However, after analyzing Google queries, I came to the conclusion that many people need help setting up network hardware. It is for them that this article was written.

I'll tell you a little backstory about how I bought a TP-LINK router. It was a long time ago - three years ago. I moved to live in a new area and, since my provider Insis was not there, I had to connect what was there. As a result, the choice was made in favor of Akado-Ekaterinburg. By the time I connected, I already had a router - an old Dlink Dir-300.

When I was connected to the Internet, at first everything worked stably. But later I began to notice that the connection to the router was periodically broken. This usually happened when I started downloading something from a torrent. Each time I had to reboot the router. I struggled with this problem for a long time, and eventually came to the conclusion that it was easier to change the router to a new one. The Akado provider has already offered to buy a router and configure it for me. But I was scared off by its cost (about 2000 rubles) and the cost of setting it up (about 1000 rubles). In the end, I decided to do the simpler thing - buy a router in a store and configure it myself.

The computer store closest to my home sold an excellent one-room router, the TP-LINK TL-WR740N. Its cost was only 890 rubles. I was completely satisfied with its characteristics:

  1. Wireless data transfer speed up to 150Mbps, which is suitable for video streaming, online gaming and Internet calling
  2. IP-based bandwidth control, which allows you to assign allowable bandwidth to each computer
  3. Supports WDS wireless bridge function to expand your network
  4. Support for IGMP Proxy, bridge mode and 802.1Q TAG VLAN for IPTV Multicast

The TP-Link router has four connectors for connecting devices on the local network (LAN ports) and one connector for connecting to the Internet (WAN port).

Be sure to connect the cable that comes from your provider to the blue port. But regarding the local network, not everything is clear here. If, for example, you do not have stationary computers, in principle you can get by with a wireless Wi-Fi network. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a patch cord of the required length.

The power connector is highlighted in black on the back panel of the router. On the left is a small black button to reset the router; you can press it with a pen or pencil. The router is equipped with a Wi-FI antenna. It was stated that the router was a one-room router, but the network was available in the entire 3-room apartment. I would especially like to highlight the QSS function. You can use it, for example, if guests come to you and ask you for Wi-Fi, but you don’t remember the password. In this case, you search for your network on your phone, select WPS in the advanced settings and connect. And on the router, press the QSS button, which is next to the antenna. More details about this function are written in the article at the link.

So, we figured out the device of the router. Now let's move directly to the setup. If you have not yet connected the patch cord to the LAN ports of the router, do so. Next, launch any browser from your computer and enter the router’s IP address in the address bar: 192.168.0.1. Enter the standard login admin and password admin, which we will definitely change later.

If you did everything correctly, you should see this window.

We are interested in the “Network”, “Wireless”, “DHCP” and “System Tools” tabs. Go to the Network tab -> WAN

The first thing we are asked to do is select the type of WAN connection. It all depends on what provider you have. This information can be clarified on its website, call technical. support, or look in the contract. We are looking at setting up a router using the Internet from Akado as an example. Akado uses a secure VPN connection using L2TP technology to connect its clients. In the contract, the provider provided me with the following information: username, password, VPN server address, IP address, network mask, default gateway, DNS server address. In the WAN connection type, select the L2TP/Russia L2Tp tab. Next, you need to select Static IP in the radio button.

Enter the data that your provider provided to you in each window, and then click Connect. If the details are entered correctly, you should be able to successfully connect to the VPN server. Next you need to save, the Save button is located below. First, do not forget to select the Connect automatically radio button. It is better not to change other parameters.

The saved settings will be applied after the router is rebooted. Next, go to the Local Network tab. Checking the IP address parameters: 1 92.168.0.1 ,Netmask: 255.255.255.0 .

Some providers require you to register the MAC address of your network adapter. Akado is one of them. Since we are setting up the router for the first time, the MAC address of the WAN interface will differ from the MAC address of the computer. This problem can be solved in two ways. The first is to call tech. Contact your provider support and ask them to reset the associated MAC address. In this case, you need to wait about 15 minutes. The second method is more convenient and involves replacing the MAC address of the WAN interface directly on the router. To do this, go to the MAC Address Cloning tab, click the Clone MAC Address button and save. It’s worth noting here that the second method works if the provider previously connected you directly to the computer. If, like me, you change your router to a new one, you need to reset the MAC address through your provider.

Go ahead. Now let's set up Wi-Fi. To do this, go to the Wireless mode tab -> Wireless mode settings. Enter the network name here, check the boxes next to Enable wireless router broadcasting, Enable SSID broadcasting and save.

In order to set a password, go to the Wireless Security tab, select the WPA-Personal/WPA2-Personal (Recommended) switch, set the PSK Password and save.

Now let's go to the DHCP -> DHCP Settings tab. DHCP is needed so that the router can automatically distribute to computers the parameters (IP, mask, gateway, DNS) necessary for working on the network. Select the Enable DHCP server radio button. Set the parameters as in the screenshot below.

The last thing left for us is to configure the computer itself so that it automatically receives network parameters from the router. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter settings.

Right-click on Local Area Connection and select Properties. In the Properties window, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Select the radio button Obtain an IP address automatically, Obtain a DNS server address automatically.

After these manipulations, the Internet should appear on your computer.

We provide services for repairing and setting up computers, smartphones, tablets, wi-fi routers, modems, IP-TV, printers. High quality and inexpensive. Having a problem? Fill out the form below and we will call you back.

This is not at all difficult if you understand what exactly happens during our actions. All setup takes place on the company’s router TP-Link . Why exactly TP-Link? Having talked with various routers, I was pleasantly surprised by the stability of their operation: I set it up once and forgot about it for several years, without freezes, slowdowns and other unnecessary nonsense)

We turn on the router, if the lights do not start blinking, we begin to fumble around in search of the ON/OFF button, found in some models

On the back there is a sticker with the address, as well as Username (Username) and Password ( Password) to enter web-interface router, where the configuration will take place.

We connect the computer or laptop to the router with the cable included in the kit using YELLOW ports 1-4.

In the browser address bar enter the information we found out 192.168.0.1 and click Enter, appears authentication window(identification), in the fields username And password which we enter the data from the sticker, then OK

We get to the page state(tab Status).

Let's go from top to bottom, first comes firmware version (Firmware Version) And model edition (Hardware Version).

LAN she's the same The local network(Local Area Network) in our case, these are the network characteristics of the router - factory 48-bit address of the network device (MAC address), address in a network built using the IP protocol (set of agreements) (I internet P rotocol Address), subnet mask(Subnet Mask) is needed to determine the boundaries of [sub]networks, if any)

Wireless- everything related to Wi-fi - broadcasting wireless network(wireless radio), her Name (Name aka S service S et ID entifier), operating mode (Mode) supporting devices b, g, n IEEE 802.11 data transmission standard, channel width (Channel Width) radiation of electromagnetic waves, work channel(Channel) the most free one is selected automatically, maximum speed limit (Max Tx Rate), to secure again ( MAC address) and combining multiple access points to create wireless networks ( W ireless D istribution S system)

WAN - Global computer network (Wide Area Network) this is the most interesting thing, everything related to the Internet connection. Already familiar to us MAC And IP addresses, subnet mask Subnet Mask, and network gateway(Default Gateway) by default, traffic from the Internet to us passes through it, domain name server(DNS Server) converts clear and easy to remember site names, for example yandex.ru, in a way that network devices can understand IP addresses. Try entering this IP 87.250.250.3 into the address bar and you will immediately understand!) Completes the list connection duration (Online Time).

Traffic StatisticsInformation exchange statistics, this column records received (Received) And sent (Sent) bytes and packets.

After everything is set up, we connect it to the remaining socket ( WAN) router internet cable and enjoy life!

If you use the Internet Beeline

We also configure the network connection in the section Network -> WAN, only in this case connection type(WAN Connection Type) choose L2TP/RussiaL2TP. The situation with L2TP more interesting than simple Dynamic IP. So, our guest - Layer 2 tunneling protocol(L ayer 2 T unnel P rotocol) allows you to create virtual private network (V virtual P rivate N etwork) within the Internet.

In field username (User Name) write down the number from the contract with the provider starting with 0895 .

Password put in Password. Must be in the contract, may, for example, coincide with No.

We will also need to enter VPN server address (Server IP Address/Name), He tp.internet.beeline.ru

The router will receive the rest of the network settings automatically thanks to dynamic node configuration protocol (D dynamic H ost C onfiguration P rotocol) to the IP assigner address, Gateway(Gateway) domain name server(DNS).

Click Save and dive into the Internet, if it’s paid for, of course)

Provided that we still connect the Internet cable coming to the apartment in ( WAN) router socket!

If you use the Internet Netbynet or Akado

In this case, we need, the first section in the router settings where we should look is Networkthen- MAC Clone, there are only two fields here: MAC address of our computer (Your PC's MAC Address ) And MAC address of the router (WAN MAC Address). All we have to do is make them THE SAME, to do this, click Clone MAC Addresses(copy MAC address) and then Save!

Now it remains only in the same section Network visit tab WAN and choose connection type (WAN Connection Type) Dynamic IP (Dynamic IP), the rest of the network settings will arrive automatically from the Internet provider’s server. Remember the button Save!

And also about connecting the cable with the Internet to the socket ( WAN) router to get the final result)

These internet providers are so different)

AKADO is a telecommunications services operator providing Internet, digital television, radio and telephone services in the three largest cities of Russia: Moscow, Yekaterinburg and St. Petersburg. It has quite a lot of positive reviews, as it works on modern equipment and provides services according to the most modern standards.

The operator works using cutting-edge technology

Considering that the main technology for connecting to the World Wide Web is DOCSIS, many users have many questions about how to configure and connect equipment. We suggest you look into this in more detail.

What is DOCSIS technology?

DOCSIS technology involves the provision of all telecommunications services via television coaxial cable. That is, you can watch TV and use the Internet over one wire. This is very convenient because you don't have to run cables from multiple suppliers. In terms of payment, everything is also much more convenient.

There are several technology standards. The most modern is EuroDOCSIS 3.0. In most areas of Moscow it is this that is recycled. Currently the maximum access speed is 150 Mbit/sec. Prospects for the development of technology promise to reach speeds of up to 800 Mbit/s.

Configuring the router to work on the AKADO network

Connection diagram

When connecting to AKADO, a coaxial cable is routed into your room. It is no different from regular television cable. A splitter is installed at the entrance to the apartment. Its task is to distribute the signal between various devices. Other devices such as a modem, tuner or radio are connected to it. In our case, we will connect a router that supports DOCSIS technology. You don’t have to worry about where to purchase it, since the company provides the opportunity to buy or rent it when you connect. After that, you turn on the router and connect to its wireless network on any of your devices.

Router settings via web interface

  1. Connect the AKADO coaxial cable to the appropriate connector on the router. Screw it securely so that it is tightly secured.
  2. Connect the router to a 220 V electrical network, press the power button on the back panel of the device.

  1. At the back of the router you will find information about the login and password of the wireless network (SSID - network name, password - password), as well as credentials for entering the settings interface (Login - access address, ID - login, PW - password).
  2. Typically, setup is performed by logging in at 192.168.0.1, login - admin, password - admin or password. Use any browser.

  1. Since authorization occurs by the MAC address of the equipment, you will not need to enter any data. All you can change and configure is the network operating mode and security protocol. We recommend using the WPA2 standard and the AES encryption algorithm. They are the most reliable. You can find this item in the “Wireless Network Setting” section.

When you first connect, you will have to wait several hours until the Internet appears. This happens because the router's MAC address must be activated on the AKADO server.

Conclusion

As you can see, setting up the Internet from AKADO is not at all difficult. When you connect for the first time, our technicians will set up all the equipment for you. You will need to do everything yourself if you have rearranged the room, but you don’t want to wait for a repairman for several days.

Do you use the AKADO provider? We invite you to leave comments with feedback.

Depending on the subscriber’s address, connection to Akado Telecom is made using an Ethernet cable or a coaxial cable with a modem. You can find out more about the technology available at your address by contacting the technical support of your Internet provider by giving the street and house number. The router provided by the provider is configured by a wizard for free. For an additional fee, a company employee will help you set up third-party network equipment.

Connecting Akado via cable modem

For residents of homes connected to the provider via coaxial cable, Internet access is only possible using a cable modem. Internet provider Akado recommends devices from the following brands for networking using DOCSIS technology:

  • Technicolor;
  • HUMAX;
  • Motorola;
  • UPVEL;
  • Webstar;
  • SAGEM.

The job of a cable modem is to convert analog signals to digital signals. The converted data is sent through the network port to which the computer or WiFi router is connected. Connect the coaxial cable running into your house or apartment into the appropriate connector on the cable modem. Insert the cable from your WiFi router or computer into the Ethernet port. Plug in the device and wait for it to boot. After that, proceed to setting up the target equipment.

Important! Akado does not guarantee the correct operation of modems purchased from third-party suppliers. To be able to contact support to set up your equipment, use devices provided by your provider.

Setting up an Ethernet connection

If the subscriber's home is connected to the network using Ethernet technology, a standard network cable is laid into the room. Just connect it to your router, laptop or computer. Thanks to the DHCP server running on the provider's side, any device connected via cable will receive connection parameters automatically. Insert the cords into the appropriate connectors, plug the router into the outlet and press the power button if available.

Note! Connect the Akado cable to the “Internet” or “WAN” port. Local network devices must be connected to the “LAN” connectors.

How to set up WiFi on a router

Open the router's web interface at the address indicated on the sticker at the bottom of the device. Enter your standard username and password, then click the “Login” button. If the normal data is not suitable (an authorization error appears), restore the factory settings. To do this, press the “Reset” button and hold it for 10-15 seconds. Then try logging into the admin panel again.

Click Manual Internet Connection Setup, everything may be different for you, the point is that you need to find the WAN settings.

You need to select the connection type to Dynamic IP (DHCP)

We do not specify a DNS server, MTU = 1500. Then we save the router settings by clicking the Save Settings button. Configuration in Dynamic IP (DHCP) mode is now complete.

Configuring to PPPoE mode

To configure in PPPoE mode, you need to fill in the following parameters.

Today I will tell you about the principles of setting up routers from the Akado provider. This provider connects subscribers in Moscow and the Moscow region. Akado routers are configured differently, they do not have any standard connection type, they use a connection with a static IP address, PPPoE, configuration using a DHCP server - this is automatic configuration of your router, i.e. settings are transmitted to you through a special server.

Before starting setup, I recommend that you check the type of Internet connection with Akado technical support. You will also need a login and password to log into the router, and a configured connection to the router. You can find out how to configure a network card here:

Connection diagram

Setting up a router via DHCP Server

After connecting the router, you need to go to its settings. First, you need to find out the main IP address for your router; it is usually indicated in the manual, either on the label of the router itself, or on the box from the router.

After you have found out your login details, go to settings.

Open the browser, enter the address in the address bar, in my case it is: http://192.168.1.1

After which the web interface will open, I’ll show you using the D-Link DIR-300 as an example:

Click Manual Internet Connection Setup, everything may be different for you, the point is that you need to find the WAN settings.

You need to select the connection type to Dynamic IP (DHCP)

We do not specify a DNS server, MTU = 1500. Then we save the router settings by clicking the Save Settings button. Configuration in Dynamic IP (DHCP) mode is now complete.

The provider, which has the sonorous name “Akado”, has an interesting feature. It can use one of the following as a connection protocol: static IP, dynamic IP, PPPoE and possibly something else. But in each case, the MAC address of the connected device will be checked against the value stored in the database.

Under Akado, setting up a router looks easy, another thing is that not all models support, for example, PPPoE and MAC cloning at the same time. Let's try to understand these details.

Akado logo

There are routers that do not have the “MAC address spoofing” option for connections using the PPPoE protocol. Or rather, this does not even apply to the devices themselves, but to their firmware (the option may be added in a newer software version). So, problems may arise if the PPPoE connection protocol is used. In theory, no one cancels the opportunity to call technical support to ask to change the MAC value in the database. Only after this, connecting the computer to the network cable will become useless: the connection will not work. And the only device capable of accessing the Internet will be the router.

Before setting up your router, it’s best to figure out two things. First, you need to find out what protocol is used to connect. If this is not a “DHCP client” (aka “dynamic IP”) or “static IP”, you need to answer a different question. It goes like this: Does this router support MAC cloning with the required protocol?

As an example, we will look at setting up a router for the PPPoE connection protocol. It will be shown how to create a connection in the user interface of DIR-XX D-Link routers (blue and white design).

Setting up a PPPoE connection

The following information should be written on a separate piece of paper:

  1. Akado subscriber login
  2. Password for this subscriber
  3. MAC address of the network card that was connected to the Akado modem

You can view the MAC address on your computer as follows: right-click on the connection icon, select the “Status” line. Next, go to the “Support” tab, click “Details”. You can see the MAC value in the first line.

Sequence of preliminary actions

First of all, to connect to the router, you need to correctly configure your computer (more precisely, its network card). In the “properties” of the wired connection, it is indicated that the “TCP/IP Protocol” will work, obtaining IP and DNS automatically:

Setting up a network card

Next, using a patch cord, connect any LAN port of the router to the network port of the PC. But the WAN or Internet port is used to connect the provider’s cable (in our case, a patch cord coming from the modem). Lastly, power is supplied to the router, and then you need to wait a minute.

If there is an exclamation mark on the connection icon on your computer, select the word “Fix” after right-clicking on the icon. You can access the web interface of D-Link routers at the following address: 192.168.0.1. Administrator password and login: admin and admin (or empty password and admin).

Additionally, note that if the connection error cannot be corrected within a minute after turning on the router, perform a hardware reset. This is also recommended when you cannot open the configuration interface. With the router turned on and loaded, press the reset button and hold it for 10-15 seconds.

How to connect a router to Akado?

Master's answer:

There are two ways to connect a Wi-Fi router to the Akado Internet: using a DSL router or by connecting a LAN router to a DSL modem that is already installed. The second option deserves detailed attention.

To work you will need a network cable.

If the computer already has a configured DSL modem that serves as the computer’s access to the Internet, in this case the network cable must be disconnected from the device. Connect to the WAN port of the new Wi-Fi router. Using the second network cable, you connect your desktop computer to the LAN connector of your router.

Launch the Internet browser and open the web interface for the Wi-Fi router settings. You must enter your username and password, after which you can access the settings. Open the WAN menu and select the DynamicIP function. In the “MAC address” field, enter the physical address of the network card of the computer from which the router was configured. Then click the CloneMACAddress button. The DNS address fields must contain the value 0.0.0.0.

By clicking the Apply button, you will save the entered settings. By entering the Wireless menu, activate the wireless access point. Set the type of security you require. After this, you will need to enter a password that will ensure connection to the wireless network. When working with the Akado network, you must disable the Firewall function, since it will only interfere. To do this, you need to set the Disable parameter.

After saving all the router settings, you need to reboot. After that, by logging into the web interface of the network equipment, open the Status menu. The value of the “MAC address” field must match the physical address of the PC’s network card. If the IP-address field is set to 0.0.0.0, you must click the DHCP Release and DHCP Renew buttons. In the Russian version of the firmware this may be “Update DHCP”.

The wireless access point has already been created, now all that remains is to connect the laptop to it. After opening the wireless network adapter settings, you need to select the TCP/IP Internet protocol. Next to the items “Obtain a DNS server address automatically” and “Obtain an IP address automatically” you need to check the boxes. The settings are saved.

  • Technicolor;
  • HUMAX;
  • Motorola;
  • UPVEL;
  • Webstar;
  • SAGEM.

The job of a cable modem is to convert analog signals to digital signals. The converted data is sent through a network port to which a computer or WiFi router is connected.

Go to the “WiFi -> General Settings” section. Specify the name under which your wireless network will be displayed. Select automatic channel installation to avoid having to set the current operating range each time. On the “Security Settings” link, select the “WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK” option in the “Network Authentication” drop-down list. Set the PSK encryption key that will be used to connect to the WiFi network. Click “Change” in the lower right corner of the page, then click “Save” to reboot the WiFi router and start working with the new settings.

Important tip! In addition to the WiFi access key, do not forget to change the router password. Some models also allow you to change the login used to work with the control panel.

This instruction describes how to connect the router to the Akado Internet provider. To demonstrate how to operate the control panel, a D-Link router is used. The specified settings are suitable for both connection methods. Through Akado's network you can also connect interactive television (IPTV) and digital telephony. Using comprehensive tariff plans is more profitable than ordering services separately.
